Welcome, I am Beckie Davies. I established Catalyst East Anglia to provide a range of services for individuals, organisations and businesses who care about, and recognise the benefits of investing in mental health, wellbeing, professional and personal development - therapy and coaching in Norwich and mental health training in Norwich, Norfolk, Suffolk and nationwide.
The services Catalyst East Anglia provides include:
- Mental Health First Aid & Youth Mental Health First Aid training courses (2-day), Norfolk and Nationwide
- Workshops including: assertiveness & understanding self-harm,
- Psychological Therapy - Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Occupational Therapy
- NLP Wellbeing Coaching
- Stress Management - 1:1 and group work
- Mental Health Mentoring for students in higher education
- Professional Supervision for people working in mental health related fields
I am dedicated to using the experience and knowledge I have gained over the past 20 years working in mental health to promote change; whether that is through empowering someone to take steps to feeling more hopeful about their life, a business or organisation seeking to improve the wellbeing of their employees and clients or collaborating with others to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

April 2012 - Beckie delivers MHFA course for Haringey Council on behalf of KSL (London based training company) - 6 more courses planned for this year!
March 2012 - We brought "Happy: The Movie" to the Forum in Norwich! Powerful documentary with international footage of what helps individuals and groups to maintain their emotional wellbeing.
- UEA fund 3 more MHFA courses - by June they will have trained over 150 staff members!
- Catalysts' office is now based in Norwich! Therapy room now also at NR1.
February 2012 -Breckland council experience the 2-day mental health first aid course! " I really enjoyed the course. it was inforamative, enlightening and has improved my confidence in approaching and dealing with mental health issues both for myself and the clients I work with". Environmental health officer.
January 2012 - Adnams Brewery pilot the mental health awareness course for their staff! great feedback - next course June 2012.

On the 15th June 2011 Catalyst celebrated it's 1 year anniversary! I would like to thank all the wonderful and inspiring people I have met during this time and those who have been a constant support to me. I could not have done it without you! It has particularly felt like a gift to see how many people continue to be so enthusiastic and passionate about their work despite the pressures and uncertainty of the current climate. I guess it is a poignant time for being able to understand more about mental health and find ways of helping each other and ourselves. During this year I have also continued to enhance my skills and completed an NLP wellbeing coach practitioner course and a PTTLS teaching qualification.The next step is to explore becoming a community interest company or social enterprise- watch this space!
